With a fondness for elements that resemble real life, the designer Mária Čulenová Hostinová enjoys working with different combinations of mechanical and biomorphic aesthetics. Her interest in material structures and textures makes Maria an innovative artist with much to offer. She enjoys using materials in unorthodox ways to create singular designs which are always one-of-a-kind, and believes that purity must never be too far from the significance of creative work. Her design background includes work for the Moravian glass works Květná, Nike Europeans and Futurista Universum, to name but a few. She also has extensive experience with international exhibitions. Some of Mária Čulenová Hostinová’s awards and accolades include the Rosenthal Design Award, Whirlpool Appliance Competition, and the Bombay Sapphire Prize.
