The Peninsula Hong Kong is an internationally renowned five-star hotel and an integral part of the local community since 1928, combining both modern and colonial aspects. The Peninsula is a living legend, the name synonymous with luxury, comfort and impeccable service. Lasvit lighting sculptures perfectly complement the interiors of The Verandah Restaurant, as well as the singular and luxurious Presidential Suite.
Whirlpool
Lighting sculpture inspired by the dynamic shape of a whirlpool. It is composed of handmade metallurgical components. The components themselves are designed to create an organic impression and hue of glass corresponding with the color of the interior.
Bird Flocks
The Presidential Suite of the Peninsula is likely the most luxurious hotel suite in Hong Kong, with stunning views of the entire Hong Kong Island. Designer Libor Sošťák enhanced the elegant and soft interior design with a light sculpture so open and airy it resembles a flock of birds in the air. Spanning nearly 10 meters, its hand-blown glass spiral elements gradate from clear crystal to mica finish to delicate amber hues. This organic sculpture exemplifies modern glass at its most elegant.
