What ideas do you get when you look at the chandelier in the lobby of Seattle’s Madison Centre? Is it a whirlwind, or a windmill, or just a beautifully frizzled cloud which captures your attention? Let your imagination fly with the wind!
The gently looking installation which loosely mimics a cloud was created from 365 hand-blown glass balls, while 260 of them have a crackle sealed in the glass – each time they are a bit different, and every single one is an original. They seem like 260 fragile raindrops, each bearing its own universe within while falling towards the Earth.
