A dynamic dance of light, fluttering like a veil over the desert dunes. This installation above the grand entrance of St. Regis Via Riyadh reacts to the strength and character of the wind thanks to sensors placed on the roof of the building. The lighting patterns’ space, power, and speed change depending on wind conditions.
Dunes of Light
Inspired by the soft curves of desert dunes, this staircase installation mimics the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape. Each glass element is textured like wind-carved sand, capturing and diffusing light in a way that feels organic. The piece transforms the staircase into a luminous path, offering a serene and elegant journey through the space.
